Support Quality Across the Store Experience Lifecycle:
Write and execute test cases for DSP mobile app features.
Log clear, actionable defects and help teams understand impact and priority.
Validate new features against acceptance criteria and ensure they deliver a strong customer and associate experience.
Contribute as a Core Member of an Agile Squad:
Participate in sprint ceremonies, support planning, and collaborate daily with developers, BAs, PMs, UX, and tech leads.
Help ensure features are testable, clear, and ready before they enter development.
Strengthen Test Coverage & Regression Confidence:
Maintain and evolve regression suites as features grow and product areas evolve.
Identify test data needs and ensure proper setup for feature and end to end testing.
Drive Better Automation & CI/CD Practices:
Partner with developers to automate regression tests (Appium/Java, Cucumber preferred).
Contribute to improving CI/CD and continuous testing workflows that help teams release faster and safer.
Improve Quality Through Observability & Production Insight:
Use tools like Splunk, Firebase, Dynatrace, and Quantum Metric to quantify severity, understand issue impact, and shape backlog prioritization.
Review production defects, identify gaps in test coverage, and recommend automation to prevent repeat issues.
Support Real World Store Reliability:
Work with Android Studio, Charles/Proxyman, and mobile device labs (Kobiton, Sauce Labs, etc.) to test in realistic device and network conditions.
Help ensure releases behave consistently across environments and hardware.
What You Bring:
Required Qualifications:
4–5 years of Quality Engineering experience.
2+ years of hands-on POS testing experience.
Experience in Native Android Application testing.
Experience in feature testing, regression testing, and API testing.
Exploratory testing of new in store hardware (i.e. new Zebra handhelds) as they become available.
Familiarity with automation using Appium / Java and Cucumber (desired).
Proficiency with test/requirements tools like JIRA or qTest.
Experience with observability and triage tools (e.g., Splunk, Firebase, Dynatrace, Quantum Metric).
Strong communication, problem solving, and prioritization skills.
Experience with Charles/ Proxyman for Any network tracing.
Familiarity with Android Studio and mobile cloud test labs ( Kobiton, Sauce Labs, Test Kube, etc.) preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
Retail domain experience.
Experience supporting customer facing or associate facing applications.
Comfort working in Agile, cross functional teams.
